Bali 12-Oct-2002 - Bali is Mourning

As of today, Saturday October 26, 2002, only 5 victims were still being treated in Sanglah hospital and only 1 patient is hospitalized in Denpasar outside of Sanglah Hospital.

Here is the latest statistics of Terror from the office of the Governor of Bali.
Most non-indonesian injured victims have been evacuated to Australia, Singapore or their countries of origin.
Some non-indonesian victims chose not to be evacuated but rather stay here on Bali untill they have recovered.
Most of the seriously injured indonesian victims have been evacuated to Australia. Thanks to our friends there.

We are happy to announce that most of the victims who were not evacuated have physically recovered from their injuries and were released from the hospitals here.

During the first days after the horroble event that cast a time of grief and darkness over Bali there were many good reasons to publish a list of injured and hospitalized victims.

Such reasons do not apply anymore and here at BaliSOS we value the human right of privacy higher than the curiosity of those who were not affected.
